Go behind the scenes to see how we keep our many animals healthy! We’ll discover how we care for different groups of animals, from our boneless invertebrates to our mammals, both large and small. Learn about how correct nutrition plays a role in keeping animals healthy and what diseases and ailments are most common with exotic animals. We’ll explore some basic anatomy of animal groups and see some of the challenges of working with animals, from spiny hedgehogs to large cattle, when they need treatment. *Note class offered to students in Darien and Greenwich elementary schools
